Increase your understanding of shared parental leave

Our newly developed CPD-accredited training will provide you with a better understanding of what Shared Parental Leave is and who might be eligible for it. Understanding ways in which parents can use this leave and how it fits into your policies and procedures is crucial knowledge. 

This session will the different terms and conditions surrounding Shared Parental Leave in relation to the birth of a child and adoption and what the employee and expectations and responsibilities are. The trainers will walk you through the process of implementing this leave and the policies to quote.

    Emma’s background in training spans over 15 years with both small and large audiences. She has vast HR and investigation experience in education and is a CIPD-qualified HR Consultant. She is also a qualified safer recruitment trainer and a member of the Safer Recruitment Consortium. Emma has worked in employment and criminal law and is a very experienced investigator in both areas. Emma’s HR experience is predominately in employee relations and has specialised previously in grievances, disciplinaries and attendance management.
