A managers guide to the menopause training
LOCATION Virtual through Microsoft Teams
RECOMMENDED FOR Managers and HR professionals - this training is open to customers and non-EPM customers
Understand how to transform workplace culture around menopause
Menopause is a natural stage of life for many women, yet it is still a sensitive and often avoided topic in the workplace. With nearly four million women aged 45-55 employed in the UK, and an increasing number of women over 50 making up the workforce, it's time for workplace culture to evolve.
Our comprehensive menopause training is designed for everyone - managers, employees, and colleagues of all genders - to raise awareness of menopause and foster a supportive and inclusive environment in your School or Trust.
With our Managers Guide to the Menopause Training, you will be equipped with the knowledge to understand the physical and emotional complexities of menopause, while also recognising the symptoms and challenges.
Course highlights
Join our seasoned HR expert, Emma Jackson, to understand the importance of promoting a more supportive and informed workplace while considering the legal responsibilities of providing a safe and non-discriminatory work environment.
By the end of this training, participants will:
- Understand what menopause is and recognise its diverse symptoms
- Develop strategies to manage menopause-related challenges in the workplace
- Learn how to conduct sensitive conversations about menopause with empathy and professionalism
- Identify and implement suitable workplace adjustments to support menopausal employees
- Gain knowledge on avoiding discrimination claims related to menopause
- Apply learnings through real-world case studies and scenarios.
