As part of our investigation service, we will:
- Provide you with a skilled and professional HR consultant who will undertake a full and impartial investigation
- Attend informal meetings to provide HR Advice before the issues worsen, or support the School at Investigation meetings
- Interview witnesses and review documents onsite or at other requested locations
- Provide you with a comprehensive and detailed report setting out the key issues and presenting the evidence, conclusions and recommendations
- Attend the hearing, if required, to present the report to the decision-maker and provide HR Advice following the cases
- Note-taking support available if needed
The benefits:
- Completely impartial investigation avoiding the risk of bias
- Confidence of witnesses and other parties, enabling a more effective investigation
- Reduced risk of internal conflict and potential personal strain that can arise when conducting internal investigations
- Expertise in the requirements of employment law and employment tribunals providing you with legally sound foundations for action
- Reduced stress on internal employees who may otherwise be expected to conduct such investigations
*Please note that for EPM Advisory Customers your EPM advisory team will continue to support the School/Trust, and you should seek their advice on the conduct of any required formal hearings. There is a requirement for impartiality on the part of the Investigating Officer, and so, the advisory team and the Consultant allocated to this work will not be liaising on the detail of this matter.
